New Botanicals

New Botanicals is a multidisciplinary series centered on ecological imagination and post-apocalyptic futurity through botanical form. The work considers how nature and humanity might renegotiate their boundaries in the aftermath of systemic collapse.
The series includes watercolor works on paper and stucco-based paintings on canvas boards executed with water-based paints and finished with wax. By bringing together delicate drawing and materially dense surfaces, the project creates a visual language of fragility, regeneration, and speculative evolution.
These works served as the conceptual foundation for Chrysalis Effect, extending the themes of metamorphosis, renewal, and adaptation into performance, costume, and immersive installation.
